Welcome to the Prinzenpalais! The former summer residence of the Mecklenburg princes and dukes! We are pleased to welcome you in 2009 newly opened First Class Hotel in the heart of Bad Doberan. Historic ambience for well-being and enjoyment - Be our guest!

Stylish and comfortable guest rooms - 30 stylishly furnished guest rooms and junior suites await you, all available as doubles. According to their size (24 to 35 square meters) and equipment, the rooms are assigned to different categories: Standard, Comfort and Junior Suite. For wedding couples and „honeymooners“ a special wedding junior suite is available.

All rooms have comfortable double beds (on request also separately usable), bath and / or shower / WC, color television with satellite connection, radio, direct dial telephone, mini bar, soundproofed windows and most modern fire alarm technology. Internet is available in all rooms via W-LAN free of charge. When decorating the rooms, they are based on the historical style epoch Classicism / Empire. Comfortably stay in spacious guest rooms, furnished with high-quality antique furniture and antiques combined with modern hotel comforts.

For events, such as celebrations, seminars or corporate events, the Prince‘s Palace is particularly suitable. Our stylish event rooms all have natural light with blackout options, hardwood floors, high ceilings, free wireless / DSL connection, state-of-the-art standard conference equipment and can be tailored to your individual needs. The orangery is also motorable.

The Prinzenpalais specializes in arranging family celebrations and weddings. Year after year, many lucky couples enjoy their knot in our house. Together with their families and friends, they party in a dignified or sociable and cheerful atmosphere until the early hours of the morning. There are a total of 3 event halls for 10 to 150 people available. Our orangery also has direct access to the garden terrace and the connected event area on the hotel grounds. From the hotel there is a direct path to the monastery area, which is only 300 meters away, with the famous Doberaner Münster and Bädermuseum / Möckelhaus, which also includes the wedding hall of the Doberan registry office.

In the light-flooded restaurant, the orangery, you can expect an excellent cuisine with influences from the classic kitchen, prepared with modern cooking methods and accentuated with contemporary flavors - in short: „classic cuisine - modern interpreted“. The restaurant offers an interesting selection of selected wines and noble spirits , In fine weather, the sheltered garden terrace invites you to linger and enjoy.

Before or after the meal you should not miss to visit the Prinzenbar for an aperitif or digestif. Also for a cozy round with the family, friends or colleagues, the bar offers. A glass of wine or specialty coffees can be enjoyed in the adjoining lounge.

For events, such as weddings and other family celebrations, meetings and corporate events, the Prince‘s Palace is particularly suitable. There are three stylish event halls for 20 to 200 people. We can offer interesting supporting programs, excursions and incentives through our external partners.
